In Loving Memory

Man Who Died For Me

Precious are the hands that were pierced on a tree.
Precious are the feet that walked up Calvary.
Precious is the brow that was crowned in my place.
Precious is the man that died for me.

Chorus
He didn’t have to die, but he did it all for me.
He didn’t have to suffer, but he bore my shame on Calvary.
I don’t deserve, the price that was paid.
But he did it out of, He did out of love for me.

Sometimes I may not stand when I should.
Sometimes my life just isn’t a reflection of His word.
But His grace is sufficient for me,
And I’ll put my trust in the man who died for me.

I try to follow daily after him,
But my sinful nature is battling within.
So I’ll leave my struggle at the foot of the cross,
And I’ll put my trust in, the man who died for me.

Temptations they may come and sometimes they win.
But I always know I have a sacrifice for sin.
When I repent and serve Him faithfully.
And I put my Trust in, the man who died for me.
